As a general statement I try to keep my political views away from strangers, as I’m moderate and often don’t agree on many things with people. But abortion is something that I don’t believe we should argue about. You can be pro life for yourself, but you have no right to throw your prerogative on another person, especially when you dont know their circumstances (how they got pregnant, their finances, their past, etc). Many people that Argue prolife fail to think of the way that child’s life will be like, whether it be a not so good home life (because their parent(s) weren’t ready yet), a life in foster care, or a host of other possibilities. I understand prolife- and I respect your opinion- however, I dislike your views that a child needs to be brought into this world while you fail to protect the children that are already in it. Wether It be through working to prevent school shootings, mental health awareness, help to foster care, medical assistant to pregnant mothers, etc., you cannot support pro life if you only care about the babies while they’re in the womb. Help the children on this planet before you force more onto it- because bluntly, in America, we need a revamp on a lot of things (could it be sex education, gun safety, easily accessible contraceptives, etc.). I could write an entire essay talking about the dangers of pregnancy, the lack of help children receive outside the home, the difficulty raising a child (let alone one you didn’t want), but this post is long enough. I’d happily discuss #prolifeprochoice with anyone who will respect my opinion as I’ll respect yours.
